30 days of being Thankful –Bible Study

Today is Tuesday. On Tuesday I have Bible Study – one at 10 a.m., the other at 7:30 p.m. I am thankful for the opportunity to study and teach God’s Word as we decipher what it means for us today and how to live our lives in ways that honor God and one another.

Studying the Bible with others opens it up for us to see not only through our own particularity, but also from the viewpoint of others. Not only do we deepen our own knowledge and understanding, but we build close relationships with another as we share pieces of our lives with one another. As we pray and wrestle together over what a scripture means, God does a miraculous weaving of hearts to make us one. If you aren’t part of a Bible Study, try it. You might like it. But be careful – it will change you.
